Truex Finally Wins At A Short Track

Truex Finally Wins At A Short Track

First short-track win is pretty awesome, too.

Alexander Rossi will try to win his second consecutive race through the streets of Long Beach from the pole. "I've really enjoyed this track. Tonight, we didn't have the best auto, but we lost here with the best vehicle a bunch of times, so we just fought and battled". The last time an apparent race victor in NASCAR's top division was disqualified came on April 17, 1960, when Emanuel Zervakis' victory at Wilson (N.C.) Speedway was thrown out because of an oversized fuel tank on his No. 85 Chevrolet.

Logano got to Truex's back bumper at the white flag and put a sense of deja vu on the assembled crowd, as it appeared he might bump Truex out of the way for the win just as he did six months ago at Martinsville.

Truex also had to survive a tight battle for the lead of about 30 laps with two-time Richmond victor Clint Bowyer, who finished third as Kevin Harvick and Denny Hamlin rounded out the top five. "They stay out and he's leading and he drives off into the sunset", Truex said. I just had to hold him off. "It was real important to be out front tonight, but thanks to the pit crew they kept us out there". "Starting getting there, but got tight and couldn't turn underneath him".

Weld says he is seeking GOP nomination for president in 2020
In the video, a narrator recounts Weld's experience leading MA and shows clips of some of Trump's most controversial comments. Weld has not won a political race since being re-elected governor by a landslide in his heavily Democratic state in 1994.

"At the end of the day, we drove up to him and you get bad tight behind people", Bowyer said. Jimmie Johnson was the last driver to finish a season with a double-digit number in 2007. He became the fifth driver to win a race in 2019. Labonte, who failed to finish the season's ninth race at Talladega Superspeedway, recorded an average finishing position of 7.13 in the first eight races of this season.

Truex has had some pretty good cars at Richmond over the years, vehicle good enough to win races, but for whatever reason he always seemed to come up short. "It's a father-daughter year so we're looking to end up in that winner's circle together".

"I had no front turn (and) was just real, real tight that last run". "And all of a sudden Joey ran us down". Bowyer was third and Kevin Harvick fourth, giving Stewart-Haas Racing two top-four finishers. Teammate Kyle Busch swept both races last season, has already won three times this season and is trying to follow up a victory last weekend at Bristol.

Following the break between Stages 1 and 2, Kyle Busch was once again the first off pit road.

Apple invests more than $500m in new gaming service
The developers may release the same game on other gaming consoles such as Sony PlayStation and Nintendo Switch a few months later. The service, which was announced at the Apple event in March, is launching sometime between September and November this year.

That gave Truex his shot.

Truex finally broke through to win with Joe Gibbs Racing after switching to the Toyota powerhouse following Furniture Row Racing's closure at the end of 2018.

When they all had new tires and enough fuel to finish, Truex was back in front, followed by Bowyer, Logano, Harvick and Hamlin.

In New England, Thomas will reunite with Josh McDaniels, the head coach who drafted him out of Georgia Tech back in 2010. Thomas pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of careless driving on March 27, and the felony charge was dismissed.
