New OnePlus 7 renders emerge, we previously seen the OnePlus 7 Pro

Now, company CEO Pete Lau has teased OnePlus will spill the beans on the launch of its next smartphone today.

Based on what we've heard so far, OnePlus will launch three variants this year - OnePlus 7, OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7 Pro 5G.

Paris' Notre Dame cathedral on fire
The spire, originally completed between 1220 and 1230 was removed in 1786 after becoming weak and twisted by 500 years of winds. Sights of the flames stopped passers-by in their tracks along the Seine River that passes beneath the cathedral.

Previous OnePlus 7 information has all pointed to an nearly bezel-free phone with no notch and a mechanical, slide out front-facing camera but we've heard rumors that OnePlus could be launching more than one distinct handset. Usually, we would have expected the OnePlus 7 to drop alone but recent leaks suggest a OnePlus 7 Pro with an interesting design may drop as well.

While the OnePlus 7 launch date has reportedly been finalised and the event could take place on May 14, the leaked information is not certain until there's an official word. As a result, anticipating fans get an early look at the phone - regardless of the leak's authenticity - to ease their restlessness.

Zach Johnson accidentally hits ball during practice swing
He was then informed that because the contact he made was unintentional, it did not count as a penalty stroke. "That's a first. I thought I had done it all but now I know I've done it all", Johnson said after his round. "I mean, y'all can laugh".

And while this is undeniably cool tech, it comes with a few possible downsides: first of all, it seems that removing the traditional front camera will prevent OnePlus from offering face recognition on the OnePlus 7. The standard version will go along the lines of the OnePlus 6T, claims the report. However, the real upgrade can be seen in the form of OnePlus 7 Pro. The secret to achieving this look is the pop-up front camera: a system inside the phone is expected to promptly lift up the front camera module every time you switch to it. But dimensions are seemingly very similar, with the OnePlus 7 said to be 157.7 x 74.8 x 8.1mm (rising to 9.5mm at the camera bump), compared to 157.5 x 74.8 x 8.2mm for the OnePlus 6T. The device might also come with a curved display. The pair of Snapdragon 855 and X50 modem is more likely. He can learn from habits and provide what is needed when needed.

It will be interesting to see what Lau has in mind.

The move is to "provide confidence" to customers during the peak summer travel season, the airline said in a letter. The FAA initially said Boeing would complete the software fix "no later than April".
