Curran on Demaryius Thomas signing; NBC's Josh Norris on Pats' draft options

Longtime Denver Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas has signed with the defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots, the organization confirmed on its website.

As Gisele pointed out after her husband's second Super Bowl loss to the Giants, Tom Brady can't throw and catch the ball at the same time. In February, Thomas was involved in a one-vehicle auto accident in which two of his passengers were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

So, we can only imagine how shocked attendees were to see her baby daddy on Sunday! Khloé gushed on Instagram: "Happy birthday my sweet True! ".

Thomas pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of careless driving on March 27, and the felony charge was dismissed.

That injury likely made Thomas a flawless low-risk, high-reward addition for the Patriots, as his rehab and uncertainty at 31 years old will nearly certainly keep the Patriots from any sort of significant financial commitment on this contract.

Bruins Players Share Reactions After Game 3 Loss To Maple Leafs
Kadri travelled to NY for an in-person hearing, meaning the league had the option to suspend the player for more than five games. That cannot happen, not only because it is a disgusting way to play the game, but also because the Maple Leafs need him.

In New England, Thomas will reunite with Josh McDaniels, the head coach who drafted him out of Georgia Tech back in 2010. In 15 games split between the two clubs, he posted 59 receptions for 677 yards and five touchdowns.

Thomas, 31, was acquired by the Texans from the Denver Broncos just before last season's trade deadline. They took MI quarterback Tom Brady with the No. 199 overall pick in the 2000 NFL Draft. The veteran wideout suffered a torn achilles in December and was released in February.

This was before tries by Kurt-Lee Arendse, Angelo Davids and Ryan Oosthuizen injected hope into a beleaguered South African side. He said: "They won (the Hong Kong Sevens) last weekend, so they're obviously not far from their best".

Last season, Jones played in all 16 games regular-season games with five starts in the nickel defense and finished with a career-best 50 total tackles, 1½ sacks, three interceptions, seven passes defensed and six special teams tackles.
