2 reasons Rishabh Pant's exclusion is the right decision

A quick scan through India's ICC World Cup 2019 squad, announced on Monday is enough to instill fear into the opposition.

Experts maintain that the selectors will have to brainstorm a lot over the selection of the second wicketkeeper as both Rishabh Pant and Dinesh Karthik are worthy candidates for this slot. That is the reason that went in favour of Dinesh Karthik.

At least 11 players are certain to be picked into the squad: Virat Kohli (captain), Rohit Sharma (vice-captain), Shikhar Dhawan, Mahendra Singh Dhoni (wk), Kedar Jadhav, Hardik Pandya, Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Jasprit Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohammed Shami.

Pelosi slams Trump’s Fed picks as ‘totally unsuited, unqualified’
The president nominates members to the Fed's seven-member board of governors and Trump elevated Powell to chairman a year ago. As escalating an attempt from the White House to apply pressure over the central bank trump's decisions were seen.

The flamboyant batsman, who can smash the best in the business out of the park on his day, gave the first glimpse of his big-hitting abilities in the 2016 U-19 World Cup in Dhaka, where he ended up as India's second-highest run-getter.

Rishabh Pant's short but eventful career has been littered with near-misses and the biggest of them of all has to be a knock-out punch delivered by the selection committee that preferred Dinesh Karthik over him in the England bound World Cup squad. Veteran player Dinesh Karthik got the edge over Pant - understandable since he's got more experience than the youngster. "Karthik will only play in case of an injury to Dhoni", Prasad said. Meanwhile, social media is a buzz as the final team India list for the World Cup 2019 is out. Dinesh Karthik has taken up the reserve wicketkeeper slot and could also be a potential number 4, along with Vijay Shankar.

Tamil Nadu all-rounder Vijay Shankar made it for his "three-dimensional" qualities. It's just unfortunate that he's missed out. "We have seen Karthik finishing matches under pressure", chief selector M.S.K. Prasad told a news conference. The notable names who are missing are Ambati Rayudu and Wicket Keeper Rishabh Pant. "That scored for him", Prasad stated. Karthik was tested at the position for the longest time after the Champions Trophy 2017. However, workload issues should not be an issue as India will have four other pacers accompanying them as net bowlers.

Perez hails Benitez influence with striker confident Newcastle are now safe
We have been working for just over four weeks, they are a great group of players that will get better. We have four to go and we have the ambition to keep climbing the table.

The presence of Hardik Pandya and Vijay mean India are unlikely to go with all three pacers unless they get a green track, given the thin pace resources.

India begins its World Cup campaign against South Africa and will also face arch-rivals Pakistan in Manchester in the group stage.

He was then informed that because the contact he made was unintentional, it did not count as a penalty stroke. "That's a first. I thought I had done it all but now I know I've done it all", Johnson said after his round. "I mean, y'all can laugh".
