Russell Westbrook Utah Jazz Fan Fight Reaction & Highlights

Utah Jazz owner Gail Miller addressed the crowd before Thursday's game to underscore the team's willingness to enforce the NBA's code of conduct following Monday's incident involving Russell Westbrook and a fan who crossed the line.

"Everyone deserves the opportunity to enjoy and play the game in a safe, positive and inclusive environment", Jazz president Steve Starks said in a statement Tuesday.

This is not the first time Westbrook has had a run in with a Utah Jazz fan.

"It sheds to light sometimes these things that players have to deal with during the course of games", Donovan said. "Here in Utah, man, a lot of disrespectful, vulgar things are said to the players here with these fans". While his interaction was humorous more than anything, it's nothing compared to how heated Russell Westbrook's altercation was. What the video didn't show were the disparaging comments the fan made to Westbrook before his outburst.

Airlines wrestle with calls, cancellations after Boeing MAX fleet grounded
Experts say other possible causes of the crashes are being investigated, including other malfunctioning systems and pilot error. The Ethiopian Airlines plane was less than four months old when it went down six minutes into its flight to Nairobi.

Keisel, who initiated the confrontation, has been handed a permanent ban from Vivint Smart Home Arena, home off the Jazz following an investigation by the team. "Because I think at the same time if we we're out and about with our families, ain't nobody saying no sh-t like that to us".

However, threatening Keisel and his wife was not the best look for Westbrook, particularly because of the suggestion of violently striking a woman. And then there are people who come to the game to say mean, disrespectful things about me and my family.

After the game, the 30-year-old National Basketball Association star was questioned about the exchange and told reporters that the fan told him to "get down on my knees like I used to", which he felt was "completely disrespectful" and a "racial attack" on him and his family. "I was also disappointed that the people around the fan didn't speak up in the moment", Starks said, per the newspaper.

"He had ice or heat, I said "sit down and ice your knees, bro", and he said "that's heat, that's heat". To protect the NBA's image, players aren't supposed to fight back. The other one was issued after a fan, whom the Tribune identified as Shane Keisel, allegedly made a disrespectful and racial comment directed at Westbrook on Monday night.

Raiders release Nelson after 1 season
The Raiders have released Jordy Nelson after one year in Oakland, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter . The 33-year-old wideout had 63 receptions for 739 yards and three touchdowns in 15 games last season.

When asked if Irving heard anything racial from fans, he said he's "heard it all" but it's different in Utah due to how the arena is set up. "When that happens I want to jump up and shout, 'Stop!'"

The ban comes three days after issuing their first such ban to a fan for similar actions.

And as of Wednesday night, the campaign - created by lifelong Jazz fan Devin Deaton of Sandy, Utah - had raised more than $9,000.
