Miami Dolphins trade Ryan Tannehill to Titans for draft picks

Miami Dolphins trade Ryan Tannehill to Titans for draft picks

He became the Dolphins' starting quarterback as a rookie in 2012 and has still never taken a postseason snap.

Miami has traded the oft maligned and greatly criticized quarterback to the Tennessee Titans.

Ryan Tannehill's days in Miami were numbered when the season ended and today they ended for good.

The 30-year-old Tannehill has been the Dolphins starting QB since he was drafted with the eighth overall pick of the 2012 National Football League draft out of Texas A&M.

Shang-Chi joins an ever-growing field of developing projects that will reshape the MCU following the events of Avengers: Endgame . Marvel Studios has three release dates claimed for 2021, including February 12th, May 7th, and November 5th.

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, the deal involves the Dolphins getting a fourth-round pick back in 2020 as well as a 2019 seventh-round pick, while the Titans receive Tannehill and a sixth-round pick in 2019.

With Tannehill now on board, Titans general manager Jon Robinson said Friday the team will release Blaine Gabbert, who backed up Mariota last season. "Ryan is a tireless worker who always put the team first".

Between the Tannehill trade and potential compensatory picks based on this year's free agency activity, the Dolphins could end up having double-digit picks in the 2020 draft.

In seven seasons in Miami, Tannehill started all 88 games he played and moved up to third in franchise history for career passing attempts (2911), completions (1829), passing yards (20,434) and touchdown passes (123). He missed the full 2017 season in which Jay Cutler came in as the team's starting quarterback on a one-year deal.

In a statement from Virginia Lottery, Brown said she "nearly had a heart attack" when she learned of her incredible luck. She chose to purchase 10 more tickets later in the day - again going for the number combo of 1-0-3-1, NBC News reports .

His time with the Dolphins was marred by mediocrity and injuries.

The Dolphins' desire to add a quarterback this offseason is headed in the opposite direction.

Tannehill's skill set should fit well behind Mariota as both players rely on accuracy and movement to succeed.
