Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg nominated for Norway's Nobel Peace Prize

Freddy Andre Oevstegaard and two additional members of the Socialist Left Party in Norway have confirmed they submitted Thunberg's name to the Nobel Committee earlier this year, saying they believe "the massive movement Greta has set in motion is a very important peace contribution".

But Friday's protest is billed as the biggest so far.

After her speeches at the United Nations climate change conference in Poland and at the Davos forum, she became an example for many young people all over the world, who since have promoted similar initiatives.
