Cincinnati Bengals target Zac Taylor as head coach

We already saw Matt LaFleur get picked off to become the Packers' next head coach and now another bright young mind may be headed to Cincinnati.

If rumors are to be believed, there is a very good chance that Los Angeles Rams quarterbacks coach Zac Taylor will be the next head coach of the Cincinnati Bengals. She reported that Bengals have made a decision and that Taylor will be named head coach as soon as the season ends for the Rams.

Taylor also represents a more overarching trend in the National Football League: hiring young, offensive-minded head coaches.

The DFO is working on a plan for the seals, including determining exactly where they're located and how many are in the area. Police believe the seal deaths are not criminal and likely due to their having been struck by a vehicle .

Taylor has been with the Rams for two years, coming along with McVay as an assistant wide receivers coach in 2017 before the bump up to quarterbacks. Taylor cannot be hired until after Los Angeles' season is over.

We'll have to wait until the Rams are out of the postseason, but it looks like Taylor's days in LA are numbered, with a bright future lying in front of him.

SB Nation writer James Brady described Taylor's offensive background as one that could make him a natural fit for the Bengals' lineup of high-power offensive players such as Andy Dalton, A.J. Green and Joe Mixon.

What I do know for sure is that just about everybody is trying their best to find the next Sean McVay.

Taylor was the University of Cincinnati offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach in 2016.

The Bengals began the season 4-1 prior to losing nine of their final 11 games and firing Lewis, who missed the postseason in his final three years following a five-year streak - and six out of seven years - in the playoffs. The Bengals finished No. 17 in offense in 2018 but if Taylor is able to take what he learned from McVay and take it to the Queen City, the Bengals have the potential to greatly improve on that.
