Monaco have completed the signing of Cesc Fabregas from Chelsea, as announced by the Ligue 1 club.

Fabregas has enjoyed plenty of success at worldwide level too, winning the World Cup and two European championships with the Spain.

Fabregas won two league titles with Chelsea and one Spanish La Liga crown during his 2011-14 stint at Barcelona.

Fabregas was linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge and appeared to wave goodbye to fans after Chelsea were forced to a goalless draw at home by Southampton.
