But now the father of one of R Kelly's alleged victims Jocelyn Savage has reached out to her publicly on Instagram in an emotional video.

The New York Times reports that investigators from the Fulton County District Attorney's Office in Georgia contacted Gerald A. Griggs, the lawyer for Timothy and Jonjelyn Savage, on Monday.

He said officers had been working on the case for several weeks and have urged the family not to pay the ransom . On Wednesday morning, as Aftenposten published its report , police put a cordon around the couple's home.


Savage and his wife have said they haven't heard from their daughter in about two years.

Griggs said he has also been contacted by prosecutors in Kelly's hometown of Chicago.

"No one has found any sex slaves or underage girls because there aren't any". Through interviews with family members and former members of the Kelly's inner circle, the report alleged that the singer kept at least six women in a "cult" across his properties in Chicago and Atlanta.
