Chelsea Closing In On Gonzalo Higuain

Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri coached Higuain at Napoli where the player hit 36 goals during a memorable spell in Serie A in 2015/16, the most goals by a player in a single season in Italy's top flight.

Gonzalo Higuain is open to a move to Chelsea FC this month, according to reports in the Spanish media.

Higuain is now on loan to AC Milan from Juventus, but the Rossoneri are reportedly ready and willing to let the 31-year-old end his spell early as they are struggling to pay his hefty wages.

Gonzalo Higuain's agent has travelled to London as Chelsea look to push through a deal for the AC Milan striker.

Rashida Tlaib's thobe inside Congress puts Palestine on the map
Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) took a hard pass when CNN's Erin Burnett pushed her to apologize for calling Donald Trump a 'motherf**ker", and responded sharply to Trump's claim that she had "dishonored" herself with the remarks.

That's forced Chelsea into re-thinking their strategy and the Evening Standard report that Higuain's brother and agent, Nicolas, is in London today to potentially thrash out a deal.

"Moreover, Milan has no intention of letting Higuain go because it would be hard to replace it. Milan would not make money from the sale of Higuain but will not take the loan".

If the Blues sign Higuain or Wilson, then current forward Alvaro Morata is expected to move back to Spain with Sevilla heavily interested in signing him.

The Argentina worldwide set a new Serie A goal-scoring record under Sarri at the Stadio San Paolo in the 2015/16 campaign with 36 goals.

"A goal can change things, but if he is to continue here, he needs to take on responsibility".
