Deontay Wilder confirms he ACCEPTED unification fight with Anthony Joshua

And Finkel, Wilder's co-manager, established that the American's camp would require talks to be more discreet this time.

There is speculation that the rematch could take place between March or June, although a late spring or early summer date is more likely to give the fighters time to recover.

Wilder said he wants the opportunity for a rematch "ASAP".

Wilder and Fury put on a classic heavyweight championship fight Saturday night at Staples Center in Los Angeles in a much-anticipated showdown that more than lived up to the hype.

"We kept that a secret".

Whatever happened, the skill level is still there. "We're not taking anything for granted", he further added. Temperatures are forecast to reach 39 Celsius (102 Fahrenheit) in Adelaide for the first day.

"I believe all kids should make their own money in life because if they don't, they won't appreciate it", Fury said.

"I had surgery and everything".

"I hold it with pride, respect and honour and it means more to me than any belt ever anyway".

"And I was going to the body and he turned. My bones and his elbow went in like a hammer to a nail and it just broke it".

Where Deontay Wilder stands in terms of that definition is up for debate after his comments following the classic fight with Tyson Fury on Saturday night. "That whole camp I rallied through, I barely threw any punches my whole entire camp". Meanwhile, Fury's promoter Frank Warren called for a Joshua-Fury matchup. Wilder expects it to be more of the same for a rematch. Like we ain't been interested?!

While it is true that you are not going to give your opponent an advantage in the lead-up to a fight, it seems a tad disingenuous to bring it up just a few days after a somewhat unimpressive display. "Either one of you!"

Joshua last fought in September, when he successfully defended his belts by stopping Alexander Povetkin in seven rounds at Wembley.

Ben Davison faced his fair share of doubters when he took over affairs in the corner of Tyson Fury eighteen months ago with the inactive lineal heavyweight champ having ten stone to shift to even get back into fighting shape, let alone step foot inside the squared circle once more.
