Bethesda compensates players over Fallout 76 bag snafu

This is what gamers are getting, with the first image showing the full bundle that Bethesda PROMISED gamers.

The bag was specifically described as being a "Canvas West-Tek Duffel Bag" in the original poster, but it doesn't take a genius to see that what people have gotten instead is a rather cheap-looking nylon bag. This time, it has to do with users who pre-ordered the $200 USD Power Armor edition. The Bethesda Store has been updated to reflect the nylon bag, though the photo of the Power Armor Edition still shows the canvas bag.

Fallout 76 wasn't well received by fans or critics, and Bethesda is well aware of the problems plaguing their latest entry in the series.

Meanwhile, Joshua says he would prefer to fight Oleksandr Usyk ahead of Tyson Fury and Dillian Whyte if he becomes the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world.

Disgruntled fans are demanding refunds, and Bethesda's handling of the backlash has led at least one law firm to consider a class-action lawsuit.

Most of the responses on Reddit to the apology indicate that folk are now even more annoyed, as much for the fact of Bethesda not informing them of the change as the miserly in-game compensation now offered.

Atoms are the in-game currency for Fallout 76, offering in-game items.

NASA spacecraft lands on red planet after six-month journey
Of 43 other global attempts to send orbiters, probes, landers or rovers to Mars , 25 have not made it. Without MarCo, NASA would have had to wait several hours for the details of InSight's fate.

In a cruel twist of fate, an in-game canvas bag costs 700 atoms, so you can't even live vicariously through your character's choice of baggage.

And third, Fallout 76 has bombed so badly to the point where many gamers say it has destroyed the entire franchise, and Bethesda pull this move in the weeks post-launch. And explained that the customer service representative responsible for the above message was a temporary employee "not directly employed by Bethesda or Bethesda Game Studios". These are worth 500 Atoms, which is equivalent to $5 United States dollars in the real world. "We hope this doesn't prevent anyone from enjoying what we feel is one of our best collector's editions", concluded the communication. We aren't planning on doing anything about it. Bethesda plans on giving owners of the $200 Power Armor Edition due to the disappointment with the bag. To claim it, the player will have to submit a proof of their Collector's Edition purchase to Bethesda Support and they will assist in granting their account 500 Atoms.
