Journalist criticised for 'sexist' Ocasio-Cortez tweet

Journalist criticised for 'sexist' Ocasio-Cortez tweet

"Hill staffer sent me this pic of Ocasio-Cortez they took just now", reporter Eddie Scarry's now-deleted tweet read, according to NBC News. And she is "trying to be a voice for reasonable people who know from decades of activism and basic understanding of government that it's INSANE to campaign against your party saying they care too much about the takeover of America by Putin".

"Would you call a male member of congress a boy?" tweeted Vox's Liz Plank. She wrote on Twitter, "Advocates for the deaf community hit me up to connect me with tools (i.e. Clipomatic) to better serve all of us".

In a social media world bombarded with clutter, what is about Ocasio-Cortez's Instagram that makes her fun to follow?

She wrote in a follow-up tweet, "Oh, does @eScarry think he can delete his misogyny without an apology? I'll tell you something: That jacket and coat don't look like a girl who struggles".

Scarry's tweet follows Ocasio-Cortez's comments to The New York Times that she would have some difficulty paying for an apartment in Washington D.C. until her congressional salary kicks in next year.

Netherlands stun France in 2-0 win
The Netherlands have failed to qualify for the last two major global tournaments, but have enjoyed a resurgence under Koeman. A draw on Monday will be enough for them to finish top of the group due to their superior goal difference.

"When I respectfully join young people in an action promoting climate action while encouraging leadership decisions, it's 'divisive, '" she tweeted. "We're working it out!"

In an interview with the New York Times, she revealed she would not be able to afford an apartment in Washington - one of the most expensive cites in the US - until she started in Congress because she has not been able to work during the election campaign.

After the story's publication, Ocasio-Cortez pushed back, tweeting: "This is completely false", in response to a tweet about the story, which claimed she clashed with incoming Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Frank Pallone over climate change.

We love how candid Ocasio-Cortez is about her financial situation.

Her father died of lung cancer in 2008 without a will - and after that, "she became involved in a long probate battle to settle his estate". Washington Rep. Pramila Jayapal, elected in 2016, has repeatedly drawn headlines during her first term in the nation's capital; she opposed the certification of the 2016 presidential vote in Georgia and was one of hundreds of people arrested in an immigration protest in the Hart Senate office building in June.

Airbnb cuts listings in Israeli West Bank settlements
On Monday afternoon, several listings in Israeli settlements were still available on Airbnb's website, MEE found. Human Rights Watch praised the decision, calling it a "breakthrough".

The Ocasio-Cortez campaign didn't respond to repeated Fox News inquiries for this article. The temptation is strong because the young far-left progressive keeps giving her mockers ample material.

Tlaib also endorsed Justice Democrats' campaign in a statement.

She said her main concern with the letter was that "that there is no vision, there's no common value, there is no goal that is really articulated in this letter aside from we need to change".

The group she was speaking to, Justice Democrats, is a leftist organization that recruits progressive candidates to run against incumbent Democrats in primaries.

Right-wing news websites commentators and politicians quickly picked up on Ocasio-Cortez's civics gaffe, using it to level accusations of inexperience and ignorance.
