Kim Porter, Mother of Diddy’s Children Found Dead At 47

Despite being seen on social media and at various events supporting her family, Kim was reportedly battling pneumonia for weeks, but her cause of death is now unknown.

Kim and Diddy have three children together, twin girls Jessie James and D'Lila who were born in 2006 and their son Christian, who was born in 1998. However, Porter had been experiencing symptoms suggesting pneumonia or the flu before her death, and the 911 call made from her home reportedly referenced cardiac arrest, according to TMZ. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Office issued a statement confirming her death at 11:40 a.m.in Toluca Lake, California.

The pair later split and Porter went on to start a relationship with Sean "Diddy" Combs in 1994.

"I ask that you give the families privacy at this time", the rapper's rep Cindi Berger told Fox News on Thursday.

TMZ reports, Kim had been treated with saline and vitamins days before she was found dead in her LA home.

"They celebrated holidays as a family, vacationed together and just hung out ... and there was never an extended period where they were at odds with each other".

Following news of Porter's death, numerous artists took to social media to share their condolences.

50 Cent tweeted that Porter "was loved and will be missed dearly". "Chin up puff, Positive vibes only".

Drake also shared a photo of Porter while she was at his concert tour.
