Rightwing author Jerome Corsi: I expect Mueller to indict me

Mueller's team is reportedly interested in Corsi's communications with GOP provocateur Roger Stone during the 2016 election regarding any advance knowledge of Wikileaks releasing emails stolen from the Clinton campaign, as well as any potential coordination of the release with the Russian government. "That's my crime, and now I'm going to go to prison for the rest of my life for cooperating with them", he later added.

"And now I fully anticipate that the next few days I will be indicted by Mueller for some form or other of giving false information to the special counsel or to. the other grand jury or however they want to do the indictment", he said.

Roger Stone arrives to testify before the House Intelligence Committee. But Corsi has emerged as a central figure of interest to Mueller as he builds his case, sources confirm to ABC News.

Corsi, who was a leading proponent of the false conspiracy theory that Barack Obama was not born in the U.S., disclosed in September that he had been subpoenaed to appear in front of the grand jury in Washington considering Mueller's findings.

According to the Guardian, Corsi conceded on November 13 that he had sent emails to associates boasting of inside information from WikiLeaks about the plan to publish the emails but insisted that he was merely trying to boost his reputation and in fact only knew information that was already public.

The Associated Press couldn't immediately confirm Corsi's claims that charges against him are forthcoming.

"I don't know specifically what I'm going to be indicted for, but at 72 years old I am facing losing my home and being separated from my family", he said.
