Here Are The College Football Playoff Rankings After Week 10

West Virginia didn't get as much bounce as it expected, or should have received, in the latest College Football Playoff rankings after its win on the road over ranked Texas.

Oklahoma is back in action Saturday at 2:30 p.m. rival Oklahoma State. One of those was LSU, which checked in at No. 4 in the initial CFP rankings, but tumbled down three spots to No. 7 following a loss to No. 1 Alabama.

That's right, we're down to basically 10 teams for the four spots. MI has outscored all three 101-27, with just rival Ohio State left to complete the Wolverines' push for redemption. Every one loss team from another conference will be ahead of them as well as Notre Dame. If Clemson and Notre Dame are unbeaten, it's possible that MI would get left out. The top four teams in the final rankings December 2 will play in the national semifinals. The gamble paid off and West Virginia remains in play for a spot not only in the Big 12 Championship, but possibly in the playoff semifinals. Both have one loss on the season, but West Virginia's lone loss was by 16 on the road against No. 22 Iowa State.

Manchester City are untouchable in the transfer market, says José Mourinho
He is part of a City defence that boasts the best defensive record in the division - having conceded just four goals. Laporte was on the bench at the Etihad that day, but he insists his side are ready to strike back.

The way the rankings stand now the Tigers would face Notre Dame in a semifinal with Alabama matching up against MI.

Take a look at the full top 25 below.

Either way, here's our projected top-10 tonight for the College Football Playoff rankings.

Robertson urges Liverpool to rediscover missing spark
Baha's side are yet to win in four European home matches this season, and visitors Chelsea will make it hard for them to get three points.

Check back after three more regular season games and the SEC championship tilt with No. 1 Alabama for the final rankings that matter for the Bulldogs. The Tigers stayed ahead of Washington State despite a 7-2 record to Washington State's 8-1 record. Also, UCF didn't move after beating Temple.

In conclusion: There are more opportunities for teams to lose, so the new normal is likely somewhere between this season's seven ranked three-loss teams by Week 10 to last season's three. Remember years ago when Notre Dame beat Florida State in the regular season but then lost to Boston College and fell behind the Seminoles for the national championship in the polls? During the past two games, Clemson has outscored its opponents 136-26 and should easily win out, setting up a possible playoff rematch against Alabama for the fourth consecutive season.
