Trump Disses Michelle Obama's Memoir Comments, Says He'll Never Forgive Barack

In her new memoir Becoming, Obama blasts Trump writing that she was in "shock" when she found out he would be replacing her husband in the Oval Office and tried to "block it all out".

Trump retaliated on Friday in a White House press spray, saying he won't forgive Barack Obama for "what he did" to the US military.

"I felt like I failed because I didn't know how common miscarriages were because we don't talk about them", Obama said. "(...) What he did to our military made this country unsafe".

Other criticism in the book was aimed at Trump's comments about women on the now-infamous "Access Hollywood" tape, as well as his conduct during debates with his 2016 opponent, Hillary Clinton. "What if that person went looking for our girls?" she wrote in her book, according to The Washington Post. Michelle Obama wrote. "Donald Trump, with his loud and reckless innuendos, was putting my family's safety at risk. And for this, I'd never forgive him", she wrote.

"It was an expression of hatred that had generally been kept out of polite company, but still lived in the marrow of our supposedly enlightened society - alive and accepted enough that someone like Donald Trump could afford to be cavalier about it", she wrote. "We sit in our own pain, thinking that somehow we're broken".

In a separate interview with ABC News ahead of Tuesday's release of her memoir, "Becoming", Michelle Obama also revealed she suffered a miscarriage 20 years ago, and that she underwent in-vitro fertilization (IVF) to conceive her two daughters.

"The whole [birther] thing was insane and mean-spirited, of course, its underlying bigotry and xenophobia hardly concealed", she writes, in excerpts of the book published by ABC News and The Washington Post.
