European clubs planning UEFA breakaway to set up Super League

A further five clubs - Atletico Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Marseille, Intern Milan and Roma would be "initial guests".

Der Spiegel have leaked emails that reveal plans for Manchester United, Barcelona, Juventus, Real Madrid, Arsenal, AC Milan and Bayern to break off into a separate competition.

The concept of a European Super League has been bouncing around the world of football for decades, with Real Madrid president Florentino Perez among those who has publicly discussed the possibility in the past.

City, United and Liverpool all declined to comment when contacted, while Chelsea and Arsenal did not immediately respond.

They scored a goal and then completely out of the blue they scored a second and the atmosphere completely changed. "Of course, we have to", he said.

Eleven of the founder clubs would be guaranteed immunity from relegation for a period of 20 years from the start of the league.

It said an according plan was presented to Champions League holders Real Madrid last month by a consultancy.

However, the Super League idea has not gone away, with claims an email was sent only days ago with a draft 13-page "binding term sheet" of 11 European clubs.

Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has suggested the Bundesliga champions could take legal action after a report in Der Spiegel alleged he and his club attempted to lead some of Europe's leading clubs into a breakaway competition.

The same thing happened in 2012, when she broke two ribs and then went right back to work the next day despite being in pain. She later apologized for what she said were inappropriate remarks. "I hope she has a full and speedy recovery".

City have since come out and denied the allegations, claiming 'the attempt to damage the club's reputation is organised and clear.

Earlier, UEFA has chose to cancel the away goal rule in European competitions.

Information regarding that meeting was also included in the "Football Leaks" documents, German magazine Der Spiegel reported. No doubt that if this European Superleague did happen, we would see an ever increasing number of those games played in other countries, no matter what the fans of competing clubs would say.

"I'm confused about the coverage", Bayern chairman Rummenigge, who is also honorary chairman of the European Club Association (ECA), told Sky. "The vote in favour of the reform agreed between UEFA and the ECA was unanimous".

Team India also suggested that BCCI should compensate the players who would miss the T20 extravagant for the World Cup. Meanwhile, Kohli is now the No 1 batsman in Tests and ODIs and hence it did not go down well with.

Watzke also said Dortmund under no circumstances would leave the German Bundesliga, but beyond that, the club would "keep all its options open".
