Erasmus’ Perfect Training Ground Response To Farrell Tackling Technique

Erasmus’ Perfect Training Ground Response To Farrell Tackling Technique

The video is proving popular on social media after the controversial finish to the Test match between England and South Africa at Twickenham on Saturday, when Australia referee Angus Gardner failed to penalise Owen Farrell for tackling Esterhuizen in the 84th minute without appearing to use his arms.

The tackle led to a South Africa turnover before England kicked the ball into touch to win the game.

Erasmus, whose side face France in Paris this weekend, consequently headed out to the training ground and, conscious the cameras were on him, took Esterhuizen to one side to show him how to tackle just like Farrell. If that is right, we should also start tackling like that.

A 'Breaking Bad' movie is in the works
The movie has a tentative title of " Greenbrier ", and will follow " the escape of a kidnapped man and his quest for freedom ". The New Mexico Film Office has confirmed that a project with that title is due to start shooting in mid-November.

Austin Healey's response to the video made us laugh!

During a press conference, Erasmus, very sarcastically, admitted that Farrell's tackle was very good and that if World Rugby says it's a legal tackle, then maybe the Boks should start tackling like that.

"I'm not commenting on this", he said when asked again whether Erasmus faced punishment for his comments at Twickenham.

Australian referee Angus Gardner came under heavy criticism after he didn't award South Africa a penalty for what looked like a risky and no arms tackle by Farrell on Esterhuizen in the 84th minute of the match.

Many similar instances, though, have resulted in penalties and cards.
