Thai billionaire Vichai was among five people killed when his helicopter crashed outside Leicester's King Power Stadium following last Saturday's match against West Ham.

The data may help reveal what caused the aircraft to spiral to the ground shortly after take-off.

Leicester City fans hold signs in remembrance of Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, late chairman of Leicester City Football Club.

Unfortunately the gesture saw him cautioned - a player removing a shirt leads to a yellow card under the game's laws.

Leicester manager Claude Puel said, "It was a normal thing for us to have the players and staff for the minute's silence, it is important for solidarity and we want to give our best for our chairman, step by step, to continue his work".

Outside the temple on Saturday, Kiatisuk "Zico" Senamuang, a former Thai national soccer player and coach who was also at the Leicester match, told reporters that global soccer world had lost an important patron.

Schmeichel and the players spent 20 minutes out on the pitch after the final whistle thanking the travelling support, many of whom were moved to tears by the emotion of the day. We wanted to be together about this, because we've all lost what feels like a family member.

His side certainly put in a performance to honour their owner, and both clubs paid a fitting tribute to a man who was highly thought of in the city of Leicester.

"We have had some great times", Schmeichel said of his team's exploits under Vichai's eight-year ownership. "The feeling he has instilled in everybody in being welcome, no matter your position at the club, the playing staff, stadium staff, everyone is equal".

Cardiff fell into the bottom three as Newcastle climbed above them with a first win of the season.

Dejan Lovren: "Sergio Ramos is worse than me"
Had fate been kinder to Lovren, he could have been starting this season as both a Champions League and World Cup victor . He won the Champions League and the World Cup. "I was second after Thierry Henry, I searched that information", he said.

Leicester goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel felt the tragedy more than most as he witnessed the immediate aftermath of the crash moments after the helicopter went down.

Over the coming days Thailand's business and political elites are expected to visit the temple to pay their respects, while monks will chant Buddhist verses over the duty-free mogul's body.

"It's been a unusual week, surreal really, and I'm glad it's out of the way if I'm honest", manager Neil Warnock said.

Demarai Gray produced a sharp finish to score the victor midway through the second half, a goal that sparked wild celebrations in front of the 3,000 traveling fans.

Gray struck a 55th-minute victor on an emotional afternoon in Cardiff and marked it by removing his top and revealing an undershirt with the words "For Khun Vichai" on it.
