Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 Launched at the Palace Museum with Magnetic Sliding

That uses a mechanical pop-up mechanism, while the Mi Mix 3 uses a magnetic system instead. Well, the idea seems to be to eliminate the notch, and remove the extra bezel to create a phone that is completely edge-to-edge.

Xiaomi today launched the third-generation of its Mi Mix line.

Chevy, Ford, Tesla slip in Consumer Reports' reliability survey
But the usually reliable Fusion drops to "Below-Average", mainly because of problems with the Sync 3 infotainment system screen. Their survey collects data from Consumer Reports members about their experiences with more than half a million vehicles.

A 3,350mAh battery powers the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite. (Please, Xiaomi!) When you're not in a call, it appears the slider action is customizable, and you can have it open the selfie camera, start an app, or launch a shortcuts drawer. Xiaomi says this manual motion is good for 300,000 cycles, which is three times that of its competitors. In fact, Xiaomi claims a 93.4 percent screen/body ratio for its 6.39-inch AMOLED screen (2,340 x 1,080, 19.5:9 screen ratio). Notably, after the Black Shark Helo, the Mi Mix 3 is the second smartphone from the company to flaunt a massive 10GB of RAM. This is another slider device, too, which means there isn't a notch. Upfront, the handset also gets dual camera (24MP and 2MP) for video calling and enhanced selfies. However, Xiaomi added a new Night Mode putting it in the same league as the Huawei P20 Pro when it comes to low light photography. If you're in China you can grab one starting on November 1. Moreover, the Chinese smartphone maker has also officially announced at the event that it will be introducing its first 5G enabled device by Q1 2019. Considered in context of the phone having a Sony IMX363 sensor, Xiaomi appears to have used some frame interpolation to reach that level of support.

As for the cameras, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 features a 12MP dual-camera setup on the back, with a 24-megapixel camera on the front. There's no headphone jack. Do make a note that the Mi A2 lacks a microSD card slot which is the reason why Xiaomi brought a premium variant of the handset to India. Underneath, it has the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset, clubbed with 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of onboard storage.

Ready to steal a taco?
Even so, the meal wouldn't be for himself. "I would have to take my son there, because he loves Chipotle". "He loves Chipotle. If you want your free taco, make a run for the border on November 1 between 2PM and 6PM. "That's just my opinion.

Xiaomi will have versions of the Mi Mix 3 with 6GB of RAM, 8GB of RAM and later this year a 10GB model. As far as wireless charging is concerned, the Mi MIX 3 allows you to utilize 10W Qi wireless charging, all you need is a charging pad that is able to provide such speeds. Instead of being powered by the company's MIUI custom user interface, Xiaomi's Android One phones are powered by almost stock Android with only a few additions such as the MIUI Camera app.

The base model (6GB + 128GB) is priced at CNY 3,299 ($475). Strangely, after the launch, Xiaomi didn't offer any confirmation about the timeline of the worldwide availability.
