Luke Cage cancelled by Netflix and Marvel

Luke Cage cancelled by Netflix and Marvel

"Luke Cage" will not have a third season on Netflix after all.

Marvel Television and Netflix put out a statement together saying that 'Everyone at Marvel Television and Netflix is grateful to the dedicated showrunner, writers, cast and crew who brought Harlem's Hero to life for the past two seasons, and to all the fans who have supported the series'.

With these issues as well demands for change in creative leadership, Marvel and Netflix were unable to come up with a deal, leading to the cancellation of Luke Cage. Last week in not much of a surprise Netflix cancelled Iron Fist after it's second season.

The news comes just a week after Marvel fans were informed that Iron Fist would also not see a renewal.

Cohn says Trump shouldn't comment on independent agencies
The ascending reconciliation to the United States interest rates is too swift declared Trump, because inflation is very low. But that mix could change-and if it changes sharply, it could move the markets on interest rates, Wessel said.

Coincidentally, the initial "Luke Cage" season two trailer features Rakim's "I Ain't No Joke" classic.

The series also had a visual and musical flair that numerous other Marvel shows on Netflix don't.

No formal word yet if Netflix's first Marvel series Daredevil will be coming back for a fourth season.

Season two was released in June.

The release clause that could see Neymar leave PSG
Barcelona manager Ernesto Valverde has admitted that it would be hard for the club to re-sign Neymar . As reported by Marca, when asked about Neymar , Valverde said: 'I coached him for 15 days.

But Finn Jones, star of the also-cancelled Iron Fist, showed his solidarity by posting an image on Instagram of the Iron Fist meeting the fist of Luke Cage, punctuated by two fist emojis (one black, one white) on either side of a heart. "While the series on Netflix has ended, the immortal Iron Fist will live on".

With the move, Netflix severs further ties with Marvel as the producer prepares to shift gears toward providing content for parent company Disney's yet to launch streaming services.

According to Deadline, there aren't now any plans for Disney's upcoming streaming service to give Luke Cage a third season. Let us know in the comment section below! While a third season seemed like a forgone conclusion after a well received season 2, it appears Netflix had other ideas as they pulled the plug on the Marvel series. This leaves Netflix with Daredevil, The Punisher and Jessica Jones.
