Butler expected to play in Timberwolves' season opener

The Timberwolves star swingman will devote himself fully to the team's pursuit of success while he waits for Minnesota to honor his trade request, The Athletic's Jon Krawczynski reported Sunday, citing National Basketball Association sources.

Jimmy Butler and the Minnesota Timberwolves have agreed to a truce ... sort of.

Butler told reporters at practice Sunday his relationship with management hasn't changed, indicating that he is still seeing a trade.

The Wolves face Cleveland in their first home game on Friday, and the crowd at Target Center that cheered so loudly for Butler in his standout debut season in Minnesota is more than likely to produce the opposite reaction if he plays against the Cavaliers, considering the dysfunction his demand has caused. Until that happens, Butler will be a good teammate and play as hard as he always does.

Sears To File For Federal Bankruptcy Today
The company once dominated the American landscape, but whether a smaller Sears can be viable remains in question. Lampert partially spun off the company from its parent in 2012 and was Sears Canada's biggest shareholder.

Given that Jimmy Butler's trade request has yet to be fulfilled, the saga is ongoing with seemingly more drama daily.

It seems like a reasonable solution, but the question remains why this couldn't have been solved before Wednesday in this manner to avoid the circus that was practice outbursts leaking nearly immediately and Butler's interview in which he didn't exactly hold back on the organization.

"So I'm not convinced that the team that ultimately trades for Jimmy Butler will feel necessary to give him five years".

"That was my message to everybody", Butler said. "At the end of the day, people can say what they want to say, but he's a victor". But he's a victor. "He's going to give it all, because that's all he knows". "I'm going to be passive-aggressive like everybody else". "It ain't going to change the way that I play".

White Woman Who Falsely Accused Black Boy Of Sexual Harassment Apologizes
The woman, 53-year-old Teresa Klein, had alleged on Wednesday that the boy groped her at a convenience store. Viewers can see Klein leaning over while the child brushes her with his side and back when he walked past.

Butler returned to the team last week for a contentious practice where he reportedly called out his coaches, teammates and the front office.

Several league sources told Amico Hoops the Timberwolves would prefer to move Butler within the next few days, before the regular season begins.

In short, there isn't much new here, except for that the Wolves are clearly trying to make it clear that they aren't just rolling over and letting Butler destroy the team's chemistry even further from the inside. "So please, come on with it". You have to think. "And I'm so passionate". And I don't do it for any other reason except to compete and go up against the best to try to prove that I can hang. "He's always been able to overcome things, so that's one of his great strengths". Was it the right way to do it? No. That's raw me. Me at my finest, my purest.
