Hugo Lloris likely to start for Spurs against Liverpool

The 23-year-old, who is expected to start this weekend's match with Tottenham Hotspur despite being left on the bench for Liverpool's previous clash with Leicester City, told the Liverpool club magazine that having come from the Bundesliga it is only normal that it is taking him time to acclimatise to the Premier League.

The 23-year-old moved to Liverpool from RB Leipzig during the summer transfer window, and the Guinea worldwide has appeared in all four of his new team's Premier League matches this season.

Speaking at his prematch news conference, Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino said Alli had a hamstring problem while Lloris could be out for several weeks with a thigh injury.

As Woodward’s book proves, USA is an empire in decline
In a series of Tweets Monday, the president continued to lash out at Woodward personally and his book's portrayal of Trump as a foul-mouthed and bumbling egotist.

Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita says it will take time to justify the £52 million fee the club paid for the Guinea global.

Lloris was recently handed a 20 month driving ban and fined £50,000 after pleading guilty to drink driving.

When asked if he would stay on as captain, Pochettino said: "Of course".

Packers taking Aaron Rodgers injury 'day by day'
He echoed McCarthy by saying it's one day at a time. "We know he's playing", Vikings defensive end Everson Griffen said. The team has yet to determine if Rodgers will even be able to practice at all this week ahead of their home opener.

"He is going to do another scan to see how is the evolution of his injury", Pochettino told Sky Sports. He made a mistake & has suffered the punishment of society. "I am disappointed because we are going to miss him for this game and maybe the Champions League game against Inter Milan [on September 18]". He is punishing himself.

Despite these two high profile absences, Spurs will still harbour hopes of ending Liverpool's unbeaten start to the season, with their 4-1 dismantling of the Reds in the same fixture last season providing ample confidence. "Hopefully it will be OK and he will be available again soon like Dele Alli".
