Sony’s Marvel Universe Updates: Silver and Black Splitting into Two & More

Our movie wants to honor the comics as close as we can tonally.

They are also scrapping their planned Silver & Black film which would have starred Black Cat a.k.a Felicia Hardy and Silver Sable a.k.a Silver Sablinova. "Because our character does not originate from Spider-Man, it makes no sense to put a spider on his chest". In essence, they're building a Spider-Man cinematic universe without Spider-Man. Characters like Silk, Jackpot, and Nightwatch are also being considered for features. For the record, that's the formal name given to Sony's Universe of Marvel Characters, which is due to kick-off this fall thanks to Venom.

But I was also convinced Everton could improve me and that I would be able to show my best as a player here'. Upon joining Everton , Mina told evertontv , "It is important that the club want to fight for something".

In a lengthy report by Variety, it's revealed that Sony's upcoming Venom film will be the first step in spinning out a bigger series of films - internally dubbed Sony's Universe of Marvel Characters, or SUMC - which includes Morbius, Kraven the Hunter, Silk and more.

"We believe Black Cat is enough of her own character with a great backstory and a canon of material to draw from to justify her own film", said Sanford Panitch, president of Columbia Pictures. Silver & Black are headed to the big screen, too, but they've since been redirected to individual solo movies.

Latest updates: Still some serious movement on offer for the bowlers as Broad seams it around. England skipper Joe Root had earlier announced a 12-man squad for Lord's Test.

Sony's Marvel Universe is by far one of the most confusing enterprises now going, and though Tom Hardy's Venom looks better by the day, no one really knows who the franchise is for, with an apparent connection to Disney's MCU still up in the air, and Tom Holland's Spider-Man nowhere to be seen. The film was dropped from Sony's release schedule back in June. Before Jake Gyllenhaal had been tapped as Mysterio for Spider-Man: Far From Home, I had been rooting like insane for Kraven to be the next Spider-Man movie villain. Adding a larger Marvel Universe spin to it raises the profile of the franchise significantly - as well as the inevitable confusion amongst casual moviegoers, who won't get all the particulars of why certain characters can't crossover, etc.
