Warner Bros. Reportedly Interested In James Gunn After Disney Firing

Dave Bautista has admitted that he is ready to ask Marvel to write him out of the Guardians Of The Galaxy franchise if they don't use ousted director James Gunn's script for the upcoming volume three.

Gunn, who was set to director the third installment of the popular superhero science fiction franchise, was sacked July 20 after decade-old tweets resurfaced in which he joked about topics including pedophilia and rape. Despite this, the stars of Guardians of the Galaxy have spoken out about the termination, and some have even threatened to leave the franchise if Gunn's script isn't used. While still negotiating his departure from the House of Mouse (particularly Marvel Studios), he can't take up any other offers, but several big players (both producers and studio executives) in the industry have voiced their desire to bring him over to their side.

NCAA announces major rule changes coming to college basketball
Say Maryland's Kevin Huerter, for example, didn't get drafted in the first two rounds - he'd be able to play for the Terps again. This new rule aims to help highly touted high school players "make informed decisions about going pro".

Other now-deleted tweets from 2008-2011 included jokes about the attacks of September 11, 2001, AIDS and the holocaust. One of the rumored studios is Warner Bros., which could result in Gunn joining the DC Extended Universe in some capacity. At this point Disney should be looking at the longview, and making sure that this whole mess is as invisible as possible when audiences are watching the Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy 50 years from now, and their best option within that perspective is using Gunn's screenplay. He didn't have a "pay-or-play" deal, which means the filmmaker gets paid whether the movie gets made with him/her or not. The third Guardians film was meant to be the final outing for the original team lineup, and set up future films in the cosmic arena of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Right now, Gunn's exit is being negotiated by his talent agency UTA and his attorney Andrew Hurwitz.

He says there are now 16 confirmed cases of the hemorrhagic fever, 27 probable cases and 31 suspected ones under investigation. In the DRC's last outbreak in western Equateur province, there were also "massive logistical constraints", says Mr Jašarević.

After the comments were brought to the attention of Disney, they issued the statement, "The offensive attitudes and statements on James' Twitter feed are indefensible and inconsistent with our studio's values, and we have severed our business relationship with him". But one thing's for certain: Gunn won't be out of work long.
