Facebook Has Begun Testing Its Dating Feature

Facebook's new dating app may have been revealed after pictures of the service were leaked on the internet.

Now undergoing internal testing with employees, Facebook Dating is looking to be a feature of Facebook rather than a standalone app.

Facebook is now testing the dating feature in its app with Facebook employees, a process known as "dogfooding".

According to the publication, relatives of the artist were afraid to advise her rehabilitation, given her condition. Demi is now still in the Cedars Sinai Medical Centre in LA and is set to go into rehab within the next few days.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced plans to move into the lucrative dating market earlier this year. Also, if you block someone on Dating, that person won't be blocked on Facebook too.

'The goal for this dogfooding is to test the end-to-end product experience for bugs and confusing user interface, ' the terms and conditions state. It'll need to prove itself out to top Tinder, now the most popular dating app going. The company has confirmed that the feature is being tested internally and is confidential.

The company warns its employees testing it out that "this is not meant for dating your coworkers". The firm stated that it was to help build long term relationships and not just mere hookups. However, what you do within the dating feature will not be shown to your friends.

Dating apps like Bumble already ask users to sign in using their Facebook accounts in a bid to spot mutual friends - and avoid making embarrassing connections with family members or close friends. Facebook also said the new dating feature is a free service for all users and will not include ads while in use. The Dating feature won't cost anything and won't show ads, but Facebook might reconsider the monetization status later on.
