Trump mocks the intelligence of LeBron James and CNN host

Trump insulted the intelligence of both the National Basketball Association superstar and CNN host Don Lemon in a Friday night tweet, writing "Lebron James was just interviewed by the dumbest man on television, Don Lemon".

A day after the president attacked LeBron James' intelligence in a late-night tweet, Michael Jordan released a statement supporting his fellow basketball great. "He is doing an fantastic job for his community".

President Donald Trump took to Twitter on August 3 to totally diss LeBron James in a tweet that slammed his interview with Don Lemon and implied that he wasn't smart.

James was interviewed by Lemon about his contributions to his hometown of Akron, Ohio, and the school his organization just launched there for at-risk children. Last night, Trump tweeted a response to LeBron James' interview with CNN's Don Lemon. "I like Mike!" CNN notes the final sentence was likely a reference to Michael Jordan.

During the said interview, LeBron did say his opinion on Trump, and it looks like the leader of the free world didn't like that.

CNN anchor Lemon also chimed into the Twitter debate, saying: "Who's the real dummy?" Students' parents receive GED classes and job placement assistance, and if the student completes the school program and graduates from high school, James will cover their full tuition at the University of Akron.

During the interview, James and Lemon toured the school and discussed sports, politics and race relations. "LeBron just pledged millions for a school for underprivileged kids".

Maduro and the rest of the government escaped unharmed, he said, adding that seven National Guard soldiers were injured. Smoke was later seen rising above the area where the explosion took place, as well as fire at a nearby building.

James has not tweeted about Trump's reaction, at least not explicitly. Laker fans who spoke with Eyewitness News also felt the same way, often mentioning the school James opened and how he's impacted those kids' lives.
