Negotiations broken between Man United and Yerry Mina

Finally some great news for Manchester United fans in the transfer window.

Aside from Maguire and Alderweireld, the Daily Mirror claim that United have made a move to sign Barcelona and Colombia center back Yerry Mina with his transfer fee said to be around $41 million.

Sky Sports are reporting that Tottenham Hotspur is ready to sell Mousa Dembele, Danny Rose and Toby Alderweireld this summer. Spurs were adamant in asking £75m for the defender, but United weren't keen to shell out as much.

Rescuers hold grave concerns for missing Australian climber
Wanaka Alpine Cliff Rescue co-ordinator Paul Rogers said Mr Harch, who is a serving Australian Army officer, was in good spirits. The wind chill is minus 16 degrees and snowfall has reached 1200m where the man is stranded, 2300m up the mountain.

Yet, to move on two players who have formed an integral part of Tottenham's central spine in recent years would be misguided, without players coming in. Dembele has been linked with a move to Inter Milan with the silky midfielder somewhat falling out of favor at Tottenham last season despite showing flashes of brilliance on the ball over the past five seasons at Spurs.

Alderweireld has always been manager Jose Mourinho's top target to strengthen the centre of defence, but Daniel Levy's reputation as a tough negotiator, especially with United, has once again proven to be the case.

The Old Trafford unit believe that they will get their target inside the next 48 hours.

With the player suffering an injury last term, Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino turned to Jan Vertonghen and Davinson Sanchez as his preferred centre-back partnership.

A number of clubs around the world have been attempting to land Mina, with Everton and Manchester United seemingly at the front of the queue - but both teams may just be backing off.

The 28-year-old is now contracted to the Red Devils until the summer of 2019.
