Trump unfazed by GOP criticism, says Putin meeting was great

US President Donald Trump is continuing his predecessor Barack Obama's "disastrous" Syria policy, Israeli website Wallah reported.

Yet Trudeau noticeably avoided any mention of Trump, who offered warm words for the Russian president during the summit in Helsinki while appearing to blame his own country for poor relations with Moscow and accept Putin's denials of having interfered in the 2016 US presidential election.

He went on to warn that Russian Federation remains capable of launching an interference campaign on 2018 midterm elections similar to what occurred in 2016 "we are just one click on a keyboard away from a similar situation repeating itself", he said.

The president's own intelligence chief publicly broke with him.

Cotton went on to say that these are not the actions of "a friend, an ally, or merely a nation with aligned interests".

Mr Putin denied the claim.

Dramatic video shows police pursuit, officer shooting through auto windshield
During the pursuit, the two suspects fired almost three dozen rounds out of their vehicle at the officers, police said. Officer Umana then tried to pull over the suspects a little after 9:31 a.m. and that's when the pursuit started.

The big topic that should rise during the talks of the two presidents is the alleged Russian meddling in the 2016 Presidential campaign in the US.

Donald Trump is an "American patriot", not a traitor to his country, Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull says.

Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., said Trump's performance in Helsinki was a major setback in the fight against Russian interference in elections around the world.

"President Putin, he just said it's not Russia", Trump said.

"If it were me, I'd check the soccer ball for listening devices and never allow it in the White House", hawkish Republican Senator Lyndsey Graham said on Twitter.

Brennan had previously called Mr. Trump's press conference remarks "nothing short of treasonous".

Does CW’s Batwoman Series Mean Arrow Is About to Say Farewell?
And, while details are still scarce, CW president Mark Pedowitz said , "We are adding the city of Gotham into the Arrowverse". Batwoman was erased from the comics decades later, only to be rebirthed in the early 2000's as a homosexual hero herself.

"If Trump's spineless toadying to Putin made you think, 'What's Vlad got on him?' you're not the only one", Colbert said.

Trump was not holding back as well, and clearly criticised the ongoing U.S. investigation of the accusations and categorized it as a "disaster".

How did it play at home?

He added that there was "no question" Moscow had interfered in the 2016 election.

John McCain called the whole meeting a "tragic mistake".

"No prior president has ever abased himself more abjectly before a tyrant", he continued.

Another senior Republican, Sen Lindsey Graham, also a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, tweeted that it was a "missed opportunity.to firmly hold Russian Federation accountable for 2016 meddling".
