Saturday's fatal police involved shooting that sparked violent protests in Chicago was captured on police body camera which shows the man who was killed was asarmed with a handgun.

But as news of Augustus' death spread, protesters took to the streets Saturday night.

Protesters in Chicago are demanding answers after the fatal shooting of a man by police prompted violent confrontations in the IL city.

The officer that is responsible for the death of Augustus has been on the force for less than two years and he is still in his probational period.

Augustus had been armed with a "semiautomatic weapon" and "had magazines on him", Waller said Saturday.
