Sublime Serena to face Kerber in her 10th Wimbledon final

Alexis Ohanian, co-founder of Reddit, watched on as wife Williams triumphed in her semi-final on Thursday, beating Julia Goerges 6-2 6-4 in one hour 10 minutes. Earlier on Centre Court, another German, Angelique Kerber, overcame Latvia's Jelena Ostapenko 6-3, 6-3.

Serena Williams is bidding to become the fourth mother to win a Grand Slam title in the Open Era, following Margaret Court (Australian Open, Roland Garros and US Open 1973), Evonne Goolagong Cawley (Wimbledon 1980) and Kim Clijsters (US Open 2009, 2010, Australian Open 2011).

Angelique Kerber, the 2016 Australian Open and U.S. Open victor, beat 2017 French Open champion Jelena Ostapenko 6-3, 6-3 in Thursday's early semifinal.

"Serena is the one who you want to play, who you want to get the experience from", said the German, whose previous five visits to the All England Club had ended in first-round defeats.

Supreme Court pick Brett Kavanaugh reports relatively modest finances, debt repayment
Associate justices on the Supreme Court make $255,300, while Chief Justice John Roberts draws a $267,000 salary. Shah said the payments for the tickets were made at the end of 2016 and paid off early the next year.

Williams will be seeking a record-equalling 24th Grand Slam title and her first since giving birth in September.

She did fight back to break Williams when the American, seeded 25th despite her laughable ranking of 181st, was serving for the match at 5-3 up in the second. I had multiple surgeries and almost didn't make it when I gave birth.

A win in two sets against Julia Goerges, saw Serena Williams reach the Wimbledon final for the tenth time in her career. Until the start of this tournament, that was the last match Williams played at Wimbledon.

I couldn't even walk to my mailbox, so it's definitely not normal for me to be in a Wimbledon final. "I think it's great what she done so far", Kerber added.

Airport employee arrested after Adam Pacman Jones altercation
Ragin was arrested for two counts of battery; in addition to Jones, Jones' female companion injured her hand in the scuffle. Jones was suspended for the entire 2007 National Football League season and a portion of the 2008 season.

At the beginning of the match, it seemed as if it may just work with the crowd-pleasing Ostapenko mixing her big boisterous hitting with some drop shots, as if to signal that she has soft hands as well. She waited 42 main draw appearances in a Grand Slam before reaching her maiden semifinalists, the fifth longest wait in the Open Era behind Likhovtseva (46), Vinci (44), Tauziat and Vesnina (42). "I've played tennis for over 30 years, so I'm so used to [being] incredibly fit". The two faced-off in the 2016 finals, where Williams was victorious.

"[But] Every time I go out there, I want to I guess take a giant step forward, keep taking giant steps, but keep improving".

For the player Wimbledon now rather oddly announces as "Mrs Williams", the numbers continue to accumulate astoundingly. So do I. She's playing so well. She won here I don't know how many times.

Kerber has her heart set on winning a first Wimbledon title after booking a return to the final.
