May says Brexit plan delivers 'people's vote'

U.S. President Donald Trump on Tuesday acknowledged that his upcoming visit with British Prime Minister Theresa May comes during a time of "turmoil" in her country and said it was up to the British people to decide whether May remains in power.

"I think it changed the fabric of Europe", Mr. Trump said. I used to love London as a city.

"I'd like to see them be able to work it out so it could go quickly", he said.

There were also demonstrations close to Winfield House, the United States ambassador's residence near Regents Park where the president and first lady Melania Trump will spend the night.

Outside the mansion, near Oxford to the northwest of London, a couple of thousand demonstrators lined the road and booed Trump's arrival, one of over 100 protests police expect to take place during his four-day trip.

May's official spokesman, James Slack, says "we need to move forward at pace in these negotiations, and that's what we are going to do".

Anderson, a three-time All-American at IL , moves onto the semifinals of Wimbledon for the first time in his career. Djokovic, who defeated Nishikori in four sets to reach the semi-finals, added: 'It was the tournament's decision.

His resignation seemed to spur others to follow suit, with a source saying that Steve Baker, a junior minister in the same department had also quit, just two days after May had held a crisis meeting with ministers to overcome the deep divisions over Brexit.

"I don t see them pulling the plug on her", Polly Mackenzie, director of cross-party think-tank Demos, told AFP.

Trump has sided firmly with Brexiteers, saying what May proposed would hurt the chances of a future trade deal between the United Kingdom and the US.

The comments are a body blow to May's government, which is struggling to steady itself after two key Cabinet members - including Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson - resigned in protest earlier this week at her plan to keep Britain and the European Union in a free market for goods, with a more distant relationship for services.

"Well, I am not pitting one against the other", Trump said.

The plan has infuriated fervent Brexit supporters, who think it would limit Britain's ability to strike new trade deals around the world. He says "I like Theresa May, I think she's a good prime minister".

The WGC-Mexico Championship moves up a week following Genesis and precedes the Honda Classic and Arnold Palmer Invitational. The major changes include moving The Players Championship from May to March and the PGA Championship from August to May.

The interview posted online as Prime Minister May welcomed President Trump and the first lady at Blenheim Palace for a lavish gala dinner. She wanted to go a different route.

Addressing the 100-strong group the Prime Minister said there was an "unprecedented" opportunity to do a deal that boosted jobs and growth in both countries.

"We have come to an agreement at the proposal we're putting to the European Union which absolutely delivers on the Brexit people voted for", May said.

"My constituents will see that as being fundamental and emblematic if we can not control our borders".

In the wake of the interview, White House press secretary Sarah Sanders issued a statement that appeared aimed to smooth things over.

In a poll carried out by The Pure Gold Company in June, 72% of people polled believe that a hard Brexit will lead to a deep recession and result in considerable losses to their equity portfolio and pensions. Her spokesman said the cabinet had discussed the publication of a "white paper" policy document on Britain's future ties with the European Union and stepping up preparations for any no-deal outcome to the negotiations with Brussels. He thought she was great on North Atlantic Treaty Organisation today and is a really terrific person.

Federer impresses Tendulkar with cricket skills at Wimbledon
Opening in typically dominant style, the 36-year-old Federer won the opening two sets; relinquishing a match-point in the third. Federer was completely out of sorts by now and his uncharacteristic struggles on his forehand didn't improve in the fourth set.

Visible face of hard sector of Brexit, with a long history of challenges to Prime Minister every time this moved away from hardest postulates in process of rupture with European Union, departure of Boris Johnson makes Prime Minister wobble, by disenfréntandoseing likelihood that May will end up in a motion of censure.
