Southgate's men dominated its quarter-final World Cup game against Sweden on Saturday - securing them a position in the semi-finals of the tournament for the first time in 28 years.

Goals from Harry Maguire and Dele Alli saw England earn a relatively comfortable quarter final victory against Sweden, albeit they were indebted to several impressive second half saves from goalkeeper Jordan Pickford.

No one is saying the Croats, with Luka Modric and Ivan Rakitic running things from midfield, will be an easy team to play but it's not one of the usual world footballing powerhouses you'd expect to meet at this stage.
