Rapper XXXTentacion Shot Dead In Florida

Rapper XXXTentacion was reportedly shot Monday in Florida by an unidentified gunman who fled the scene.

Emergency officials received a call at 3.57pm about a shooting on Dixie Highway and an adult male victim was taken to a hospital, according to the Broward County Sheriff's Office.

Up and coming United States rapper XXXTentacion was shot dead near Miami on Monday, celebrity website TMZ reported. About an hour later, the sheriff's department said on Twitter that the man had been pronounced dead, and confirmed Onfroy's identity shortly thereafter.

Newsweek reached out to the Broward County Sheriff's Office for comment but had not yet heard back. "Witnesses told cops a Louis Vuitton bag was taken from XXX's vehicle", TMZ reports. He was shot and killed during an apparent robbery in Broward County in Florida in the U.S., police said.

He has been in charge of Mexico since late 2015 and is called "El Profesor" - a sobriquet of ridicule, not respect. As Osorio said afterward, he told his team to "play for the love of winning, not the fear of losing".

"According to Billboard, XXXTentacion recently earned his first No. 1 album on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart with "?", which debuted atop the list dated March 31.

The rapper was killed in a gun fight over a woman.

XXXTentaction's short career had been overshadowed by alleged incidents of domestic violence and at the time of his death he was facing 15 felony charges.

XXXTentacion was born and raised in Plantation, Florida. But his success was shrouded in controversy, and even as his music made industry waves, he faced criminal charges including domestic abuse.

However, Dalic wouldn't comment on his motives, saying only: "I need my players fit and ready to play". Winger Marko Pjaca went on instead, but Dalic apparently wasn't convinced by Kalinic's excuse.

Onfroy was briefly booted from the music platform Spotify's curated playlists over the allegations, though the company later reversed its policy, meant to apply to musicians accused of harassment and violence.

"Rest in peace. I never told you how much you inspired me when you were here", West posted on Twitter along with a photo of the rapper.

XXXTentacion has had a controversial career, and was now awaiting trial for domestic violence against his ex-girlfriend.
