Wonder Woman sequel photos reveal major character returns

"Wonder Woman 1984", the follow-up to Warner Bros.

Director Patty Jenkins and star Gal Gadot on Wednesday shared two first look images from the sequel to Wonder Woman, which began filming earlier this week.

If you remember correctly (spoiler alert if you somehow have not have seen the first Wonder Woman movie), Steve came to an unfortunate end after he sacrificed himself in the war. Pictures' follow up to the Super Hero's first outing, last summer's record-breaking "Wonder Woman", which took in $822 million at the worldwide box office. Did Wonder Woman tap into some of her Greek goddess genetics (let's not forget she's the daughter of Zeus) and use some unknown power to alter reality?
