Picture worth a thousand words: Trump, Merkel 'standoff' captures G-7 tensions

Trump, who attended the day one of the summit pitched the idea of discarding all tariffs and trade barriers between the U.S. and its G-7 allies.

Earlier in the day, Canadian President Justin Trudeau said that they would move forward with "retaliatory measures".
