Hurricane Aletta strengthens to category 4 off Mexico's Pacific coast

Aletta is the first hurricane of the 2018 season in the eastern Pacific.

Hurricane Aletta intensified on Friday to category 4 on the Saffir-Simpson scale, while located 815 km southwest of the port of Manzanillo in Colima state, Mexico's national weather service, National Meteorological Service (SMN), announced. A Category 3 storm is classified as a major hurricane with sustained winds from 111-129 miles per hour.

E3 2018: Linger in Loneliness With Sea of Solitude, Coming Early 2019
However, there's something about Sea of Solitude , a uniqueness, that makes me want to to play it right now. The exact date and other details about the game will be announced soon.

The center said swells generated by Aletta would begin to hit portions of mainland Mexico and the west coast of Baja California Sur and continue through the weekend, likely causing "life-threatening surf and rip current conditions". It had 45 miles per hour maximum sustained winds and was moving west at 6 miles per hour, the NHC's 11 a.m. EDT update said. This disturbance is now a cluster of storms, but is becoming better organized.

Late in the week, the center of Bud could approach Mexico's southern Baja California peninsula. The NHC said it's too early to tell whether the second system will pose a threat to the Pacific coast next week. Aletta should strengthen over the next couple days before weakening back to a tropical storm midday Sunday and a tropical depression midday Tuesday. It was upgraded to a Category 3 storm on Friday.
