Crocodile kills pastor in Ethiopia during mass baptism

A protestant pastor was reportedly attacked and devoured by a crocodile at Lake Abaya in Ethiopia on Sunday while baptising members of his congregation.

It's a testament to his faithfulness to Jesus that he was willing to obey Jesus' command to baptize new believers, even knowing that Lake Abaya is filled with crocodiles.

The crocodile was not captured.

Fishermen threw out their nets to block the crocodile from taking Mr Docho into deeper water, but by the time they extricated him he was already dead.

A baptism in Ethiopia took a terrible turn when a crocodile jumped out of a lake and grabbed a pastor who was conducting a mass baptism.

Crocodile attacks are common in Africa, the paper reported, with numerous victims being women washing clothes.
