Hezbollah: US-led coalition hits Syrian army positions

Overnight reports on US-led coalition strikes on Syrian Army positions are not "consistent with the reality," according to a military source.

Their reach in Syria has alarmed the Trump administration in Washington and Netanyahu's government in Tel Aviv, which say that Iran's expansive networks in the war-torn country threaten Israel.

A military source quoted by state news agency SANA said "some of our military positions between Albu Kamal and Hmeimeh were hit this morning in an aggression by American coalition warplanes".

Syrian regime-run media have reported that regime's aircraft have dropped leaflets on rebel-held areas in Daraa urging fighters to disarm.
