New YouTube Music streaming service launches gives access to songs unavailable elsewhere

YouTube is all set to launch its new streaming service, known as YouTube Music pretty soon. Google Play Music is entirely music based and functions as streaming service and storage location for your collection of MP3s. It's not just official artist videos either, as you can also stream any remixes or live versions of songs you can find on the video streaming service, something rival services can't offer. It's basically all of the music you find on YouTube, with videos and everything, better put together than the current YouTube Music. Not only do you have to pay $2 extra for the YouTube Premium but you will also need to shell out another $10 for the YouTube Music and that climbs up to a $12 extra/month. It costs $11.99 for new customers and includes YouTube Music Premium.

While fans can enjoy the new ad-supported version of YouTube Music for free, we're also launching YouTube Music Premium, a paid membership that gives you background listening, downloads and an ad-free experience for $9.99 a month.

T. Jay Fowler, YouTube Music's head of product, described the service as "deeply personalized", pulling from all account history on YouTube.

According to the information of the source, YouTube's refurbished music service to be retitled as YouTube Premium. While a YouTube Music subscription is something that's been tried before, this time it seems part of a bigger shift.

The service's Elias Roman commented: "The days of jumping back and forth between multiple music apps and YouTube are over". The YouTube team is planning a not insignificant change to YouTube Red, the subscription service that not only removes ads from YouTube but also allows access to YouTube original content, including the popular Cobra Kai. And if you use Google Play Music, nothing will change - you'll still be able to access all of your purchased music, uploads and playlists in Google Play Music just like always. The UK, and other countries will get it in the "coming weeks". The brand will bring Austria, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom later.
