Battlefield V Confirmed By EA, Reveal Date and Time Announced

EA has finally revealed the title for their upcoming shooter to be Battlefield V.

On May 23 (which will be 6AM on Thursday May 24 AEST) the next Battlefield will be unveiled by EA, DICE, alongside comedian and Daily Show host Trevor Noah. In a subsequent tweet on the official Battlefield account, it was confirmed that this is indeed Battlefield V we're talking about, and that the live reveal will begin at 4 PM Eastern on May 23.

As to what Battlefield V will be about, your guess is as good as mine. "On the Battlefield V Live Reveal, the team developing the game will share their vision". However, DSOGaming is already confident that it will feature a single-player campaign. For instance, a report from several months ago has pointed toward the likelihood of the title being set during World War II. Be sure to stay tuned to DualShockers next week as we'll be reporting on all the latest Battlefield V news as it develops.

A time period has still not been officially revealed but EA stated that they will "give players the first look at DICE's immersive portrayal of the new setting".
