Cano Handed 80 Game Drug Suspension

According to baseball reporter Hector Gomez, Cano will be suspended by Major League Baseball after he tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs.

Cano suffered a fractured fifth metacarpal in his right hand when he was struck by a pitch from Detroit's Blaine Hardy on Sunday.

"Recently I learned that I tested positive for a substance called furosemide, which is not a performance-enhancing substance", Cano said in a statement issued by the MLB Players Association.

North Korea begins dismantling its nuclear silo
North Korea's government says it is considering calling off a planned nuclear summit between dictator Kim Jong-un and U.S. North Korea's state-run media, however, has blasted Japan for putting undue focus on the abduction issue.

Cano, who was expected to miss six to eight weeks if surgery is needed for his broken hand, was hitting.287 with four home runs and 23 RBIs so far this season.

Cano in a statement admitted that he took Furosemide and said it was given to him by a licensed medical doctor in the Dominican Republic to "treat a medial ailment".

"He has explained to us what happened, accepted the punishment and has apologised to the fans, the organisation and his teammates". The 80-game suspension will cost Cano $11.85 million from his $24 million salary. "I am extremely grateful for the support I have received during this process, and I look forward to rejoining my teammates later this season", he continued. "We will support Robinson as he works through this challenge", the club said.

Seattle Mariners' Robinson Cano rounds the bases after hitting a two-run home run against the Miami Marlins to score Jarrod Dyson in the first inning of a baseball game, Monday, April 17, 2017, in Seattle. His reliability had been one of his greatest assets: he'd appeared in at least 150 games in every season since 2007, and hadn't posted an OPS+ below 110 since 2008.

PSG have appointed new coach
He can coach, but also has good man-management skills, which will be needed with the big names in the PSG squad. There is extraordinary potential at PSG and it is the most exciting challenge I've had presented to me.
