Barcelona unbeaten run ends after 36 games

Barcelona's 43-game unbeaten run and season in La Liga was ended by a determined Levante team who overcame the Champions 5-4 on Sunday night, thanks to a hattrick from Ghanaian youngster, Emmanuel Frimpong.

Ernesto Valverde sparked speculation on Saturday when he left Lionel Messi out of his squad for the game.

Barcelona's hope ending the Spanish La Liga with an unblemished record has come to an end all because of one man Emmanuel Boateng from Ghana.

The champions were 5-1 down after 56 minutes and they launched a fightback with a Philippe Coutinho hat-trick and a Luis Suarez penalty.

FC Barcelona players show their disappointment after conceding another goal to Levante.

Malaga had been the last side to beat Barca in Spain's top flight on April 8, 2017. They scored five past us and deserved to win.

It was 1932 when the last side, Real Madrid, went unbeaten in the top-flight but even that was across only 18 matches, in a 10-team division.

With Sergi Roberto suspended, Nelson Semedo will start at right-back for Barcelona at Levante, while Thomas Vermaelen looks set to feature with Umtiti carrying a minor injury.

Barca pulled one back through a Phillipe Coutinho 38th minute strike, the goal was well assisted by Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez.

"But this does not take away everything we have done otherwise this season - everything we have achieved in league, the run we managed across two seasons - but, it is a shame". "It's a shame. We won the title and had an incredible league campaign, except for this match". Despite winning La Liga and the Copa del Rey, there have been some significant disappointments late in the campaign.

There is also a BTS footage of Brie Larson doing stunts in her superhero costume courtesy of Twitter user P.A. Marvel standalone movie would certainly be noteworthy in a post-Spider-Man: Homecoming world.
