Recall that during the meeting, Andrew Parker also turned to the topic of the Middle East.

Parker will argue that despite its heavy losses and retreat in Syria and Iraq, the Islamic State still presents a threat to Western democracies and "still aspires to direct devastating and more complex attacks".

Mr Barnier has previously declared the United Kingdom will be cut from security and defence involvement once it leaves the EU.

THE head of MI5 says it is more vital than ever that European spy agencies stand together to counter the threat Russian Federation poses to Western democracies.

The director general of MI5 Andrew Parker launched the blistering attack on Vladimir Putin's regime during a speech to European intelligence agencies in Berlin.

The UK believes it is highly likely that the Russian State orchestrated the nerve attack on former double agent Sergei Skripal and his daughter in Salisbury in early March.

The attack, with the novichok toxin, marked the first use of a nerve agent in Europe since the Second World War.

He also accused Russian Federation of "flagrant breaches" of worldwide rules, and criticised its invasion of Crimea and alleged interference in Western elections.

Russian officials suggested the United Kingdom had carried out the attack to stoke anti-Russian hysteria.

The three-time Pro Bowler was a cornerback for most of his career until moving to safety for his final two-plus seasons. Hall will nearly certainly end up in the Redskins Ring of Fame, as one of the greatest team players of his era.

The West, he said, should "shine a light through the fog of lies, half-truths, and obfuscation that pours out of Russia's propaganda machine".
