Lyoto Machida Front-Kick KO's Vitor Belfort At UFC 224

Five years ago, a fight between Machida and Belfort would've headlined its own pay-per-view.

It was also a mirror image of the kick that Anderson Silva used to knock Belfort out at UFC 126.

However, when taking on fellow Brazilian Lyoto Machida in Rio de Janeiro on Saturday night at the UFC 224 event, The Phenom perhaps didn't envisage his career ending with a handsome crane kick from The Dragon which saw him suffer a brutal knockout loss that had fans reminiscing about two memorable fights from their careers.

Castellanos was hit by an 84 miles per hour change-up thrown by Seattle Mariners starter Felix Hernandez. He went on the 10-day disabled list in May 2017 due to a strained right quad muscle.

Dern is one of the most hyped prospects to arrive in the sport in some time - a 25-year-old, multi-time Brazilian jiu jitsu world champion with a flawless 6-0 record - and she's jumping back into the cage two months after her promotional debut in a tough contest against Amanda Cooper, a scrappy, more experienced fighter. A well timed front kick to the face from Machida sent the 41 to the canvas, out cold before he hit the deck.

"Everything in life has beginning, middle and end", Belfort said. "It's time for me to take care of my family and endeavors".

Machida, who now fights out of Los Angeles, is now on a two-fight win streak.

"The Dragon" has set his sights on former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping. I was looking for the right moment. "I will stop fighting here because I think I reached the end".

If you want to tell me that you'd pick anything other than UFC 224 if given a choice of those three fight cards this weekend, I'm going to need a thousand words explaining your logic because it doesn't make sense to me.

"Michael Bisping, I'm still waiting for you". This was most likely the last bout inside an Octagon for Belfort's 26-fight UFC career.

Jurgen Klopp: 'Liverpool players have been unbelievable this season'
For starters, there was Salah, ending his three-game scoring drought and reaching yet another milestone. Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp was forced into a change with James Milner not available through injury.

Debuting as a professional at SuperBrawl 2 way back in 1996, Belfort made his first UFC appearance a year later at UFC 12, when he won the heavyweight tournament with wins over Tra Telligman and Scott Ferrozzo.
