Landry jumped out to an early lead with birdies on three, five and six and picked up two more on 16 and 17 to finish on the penultimate day free of any bogeys.

Texas-born Landry, who lives in nearby Austin, shot a four-under 68 to close out the win in his 32nd start on tour. Another short birdie miss from inside four feet on the 14th lost him a second chance to increase his lead, but as Mullinax could only manage a par himself after hitting in to the bunker with his second, the gap remained at one-shot.

"Made a couple putts and, unfortunately, Zach and Trey kind of had some hiccups there on the front nine and they didn't play it as well as I did", Landry said. Afforded the luxury of two putts for the win, Landry rolled in his par save to cement a two-shot win. He earned his tour card past year on the Web.com Tour, and lost a playoff to Jon Rahm in January in the CareerBuilder Challenge. "Losing in that playoff when I was continuing to hit good shot after good shot, just not making any putts".
