Sleet, snow, and rain strike Stateline Wednesday

Initially a wave of freezing rain and sleet is falling but by the time the afternoon comes it should be mostly widespread snow especially north of I-80.

The threat of slippery roads, very poor visibility and heavy snow has prompted the National Weather Service to issue a Winter Storm Warning for Madison until 1 a.m. Thursday.
