Police Seek Bank Robbery Suspect In Pasadena

The suspect is a black male in his late 40s to early 50s with a grey goatee and mustache.

Police arrested a 60-year-old man Monday who allegedly robbed four drug stores in 2 days.

One of the suspects was carrying a semi-automatic handgun during the robbery, police said.

The man entered Key Bank, 2161 S. Byrne Road, at about 12:20 p.m. Monday, and demanded money from the tellers, the Federal Bureau of Investigation said in a release. He was between 5 feet, 9 inches tall and 6 feet tall.

At the time of the robbery, the suspect was wearing sunglasses, a gray sweatshirt, black shorts and black gloves. Witnesses said a man walked into the store, pointed a.38 caliber revolver at the clerk and demanded money.

After police surrounded the area, the man was taken into custody without incident.

The incident began at about 11:45 a.m., when a man indicated he had a gun and got into the vehicle of a 22-year-old woman stopped for a stop sign at State Street and West Gilman Street.

One suspect suffered a severe cut to his hand and was taken to St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center for treatment.
